I'm super excited about the bridal event I will be co-hosting with Lisa (from Bellissima Vita Weddings). It's coming up fast and I'm trying to get everything together. A Valentine’s Day promotion

Jennifer Skog Photography is offering a Valentine’s Day giveaway for couples in any market nationwide.

Details: A full day stylized photo shoot with Jennifer Skog and hair and makeup design by Maria Chang of Professional Makeup Artistry. The shoot includes up to 3 different looks and an opportunity for a Couple Boudoir in the bedroom.

Requirements: In about 1,000 words share your love story. The most romantic story will be the winner and will be announced on Friday, February 20th. Jennifer Skog Photography will not actually be picking the winner; a carefully chosen panel of colleagues will judge the stories.

Who can enter: Everyone! This contest is not limited to California residents – we will actually come to any location nationwide to do the shoot!

Please include 1 or 2 of your favorite photos together (1000px max).
As well as your name, city, state and email address.

The Couture Tour in L.A.

If you haven't heard about the dynamic duo of Jennifer Skog Photography and Maria Chang (Professional Make-up Artistry) then you are missing out! B + G Wedding Part I

Elizabeth and George were married at the St. Helena Culinary Institute. We used fall colors including oranges and reds to go with the time of the year. My assistant Caroline took over this wedding when I found out I was pregnant. She did a wonderful job! Here are some pictures she took.

Bridal Event

It's that time of the year again! Lisa from Bellissima Weddings and I will be hosting our 2nd annual Lovely Details Bridal Event. If you want to see what happened last year you can check it out here.

The Details
When: Sunday, February 22, 2009
Where: Fort Mason, San Francisco
Time: 11am-3pm
Why: Because the coolest and hippest vendors will be showcasing their work! And if that's not enough of an incentive then maybe because it's free along with the parking.

E + P Wedding

Elaine and Phil were married in September 2008. Elaine was one of the sweetest and enthusiastic brides I worked with thus far. I knew we would get along from the get go - we both have December birthdays and love orchids! Elaine also had a beautiful bouquet I made for her but sadly, I did not get a chance to take a picture of it. Hopefully I will get some photos of it from her so I can post them. But the reception was held at the Ring's Restaurant located in the Embassy Suites Hotel in Burlingame, California.

There wasn't much room on the tables since they were narrow so we sprinkled some pink rose petals in the center along with dahlias and orchids.

Elaine wanted a few tall pieces in the room so we did some manzanita branches with hanging crystals.

Napkin treatments with a pink orchid. It looked really nice with their menu cards.

This was so cute! The kids received a lollipop with their place setting. How excited would you be if you saw this at your seat?!
