S + E Wedding | Thomas Fogarty Winery| Woodside

Susie and Ed got married in the fall at one of my favorite venues, Thomas Fogarty Winery.  I am a bit biased here since this is where I got married almost five years ago - but if you checked the place out you would have to agree it is one of the most beautiful wineries along the peninsula (between San Francisco and San Jose).

There were so many things I loved about this wedding - the venue, the scrabble theme and the cake topper just to name a few!

Venue: Thomas Fogarty Winery
Wedding Planner: Janece with Every Elegant Detail
Photographer: Jesse Leake Photography
Cake: Gabby with Cake Coquette

Susie wanted a soft and romantic bouquet that was fluffy!  I have to say that this was one of my favorite bouquets from 2010.  Flowers included hydrangea, spray roses, freesia, dahlias, roses and orchids.

Susie had given me some lace left over from her wedding dress so I wrapped her bouquet with it and accented it with some pearl pins.  It really added a nice detail!

C+J Wedding | De Anza Hotel | Cupertino

Carolyn and Jon got married in the fall so they wanted to use bold fall colors for their wedding pallete.  The bridesmaids wore eggplant purple and we went with shades of orange for the bouquets.  I have to say that the bridesmaid bouquets were one my favorites from last year.  Loved the dahlias and eucalyptus leaves!

Bride's bouquet: roses, dahlias, calla lilies, cymbidium orchids

Bridesmaid bouquets: roses, spray roses, dahlias and eucalyptus leaves and pods

Groom's bout: calla lily with eucalyptus seeds

Groomsmen bouts: scabiosa pods with hypericum berries

Bouquet Breakdown

I haven't done a bouquet breakdown in a while so I thought I would breakdown Misty's bridal bouquet from the wedding that was featured in the previous post.

I also included the names of the roses but keep in mind that each grower has different names for their rose colors. For those who live in the bay area then you would find these roses at the San Francisco Flower Mart.

Bouquet Breakdown

A funky and fun bouquet without using any roses, dahlias or peonies (the most popular weddings flowers in my opinion)!
