Gretchen's Married!

Gretchen and Craig

May 27, 2007
Pacific Club Irvine, California
Colors: Coral & Brown

Gretchen and I have known each other since our Freshman year in high school! I was thrilled when she announced her engagement and was so happy to help her with her flowers. Since I gained so much "wedding knowledge" through my own planning I was excited to share all of my resources and ideas. I was able to help her with her Save The Date Card, monogram and flowers.

Place Card Table

Reception Centerpieces
The room had tall ceilings so Gretchen wanted some tall and low centerpieces. The tall centerpieces had curly willow, hanging candle votives with orange mokara orchids tied to the branches. The low centerpieces had 3 shades of coral roses, dahlias, hypericum berries, peonies, stock and hydrangeas. She also had really nice chocolate brown linens with chivari chairs

Details
I helped Gretchen make her monogram for her programs and menu cards. The bottom right corner is a picture of me and my friend Kathy who was a fabulous assistant! The best drink of the night was definitely the Pomegranate Martinis.

Noreen & Ken

I first met Noreen at my wedding. She was the assistant to my Day of Wedding Coordinator Kathryn Kalabokes from Dream A Little Dream Events. I told Kathryn that I was planning to jump into the crazy wedding world as a floral designer. She passed my name on to Noreen who was getting married in March 2007. I felt quite honored that Noreen would trust me to design her personal flowers. Here are a few pictures!

Noreen got married at the San Francisco Zoo and she wanted to include some feathers in her centerpieces. She had a good idea of what she wanted and we worked together on some ideas. She ended up with something pretty spectacular! Noreen is also a Wedding & Event Planner with Dream A Little Dream Events. Here are some more pictures of her wonderful details. As you can see, she is very creative!
