K + J Wedding| Hotel Vitale | San Francisco

You know how you meet some people and you just know instantly that you were meant to work together? This is how I felt about Karen. Not only did we have our names in common - but she told me at our first meeting that her dog's name is Huckleberry. So clearly I was meant to do her wedding flowers.

Karen and Jeremy got married at the Hotel Vitale in San Francisco. It's a very modern, chic hotel along the Embarcadero with views of the ferry building and bay bridge. Karen wanted something modern and fun that included her favorite flower the dahlia. So we went with some wheat grass centerpieces with dahlias and fern pods (a.k.a. monkey tails).

A big thanks to Amanda from Blueberry Photography for the photos!

K + M Wedding Part II

Wow, I really kept you guys hanging, didn't I? It was not intentional. Some how the week went by in a blur with 2 weddings, a corporate event and a teething baby. Anyway....more on Kim and Matt's Wedding!!

Ceremony

We hung yellow carnations in vases off of the chairs.

Kim made the most adorable initials to hang in the ceremony. She loves daisies so she used some artificial daisy blooms and whipped them into these monogram cuteness.

Best man let me take a picture of the bout!

I loved the hanging lights and lanterns at the reception!

Toss bouquet on the head table

I'm waiting for some professional picture from the photographer - I can't wait to show you those. Kim sent me a sneak preview of one....love it!

K + M Wedding | Garre Winery | Part I

I have so much to say about this wedding I don't even know where to begin. The couple is super adorable, their wedding party was a blast and there were so many adorable details that they thought of. They also used a great color combination with yellow, navy blue with pewter accents. The bridesmaids wore navy blue and the groomsmen had on gray suits and the flowers were yellow with cream and ivory accents.

The bridal bouquet: dahlias, freesia, peonies, spray roses, craspedia (billy buttons).

Here is Kim indulging me by letting me take a picture of her with the bouquet.

The Bridesmaid Bouquets: dahlias, roses, spider mums, freesia, and daisies!

The groom's bout: craspedia (aka billy buttons) with lavender, kermit mum and freesia accents.

Mom's corsage: cymbidium orchids with bear grass loops

Close up of the groomsmen bouts: billy buttons, kermit mums, spider mum and freesia

I snuck a picture of one of the bridesmaids - they were all so cute!!
And I really liked their shoes. These were Rocket Dogs.
Comfy and cute - what more can a girl ask for?
More pictures to come of the ceremony and reception!
