M & R Part II

I mentioned before that I helped Monya and Russ with their Invites. They wanted something that incorporated fall leaves in shades of brown. We played with a few different ideas and this is the final product!

M & R

Monya had contacted me when she first began planning her wedding 1.5 years ago. I was able to design her invitations along with her floral decor. Monya and Russ live in Southern California so we did most of our communication over email. About 8 or 9 month into the engagement they planned a trip to San Francisco and I was very excited to finally meet them both! I felt like I knew them like old friends.

Ceremony Location: Crissy Field
Ceremony Coordinator: Lisa from Bellissima Vita Weddings
Reception: San Francisco City Club
Photographer: Augie Chang
Colors: Shades of brown with orange accents

Monya's mom also wrote a very nice letter to me after the wedding.

Dear Karen,
To say that ALL our flowers were drop dead gorgeous would be an understatement. When I first saw the bridal party flowers I looked at Monya and said "WOW.. are these not amazingly beautiful"... of course she agreed. When I delivered the flowers to the guys along with Zoey's pomander & Marta's corsage, Garrett, their Officiant/Best Man told me he'd never seen such pretty flowers, especially Zoey's..that's huge coming from him since he's the "wedding whisperer" :)

I can't begin to tell you what it was like walking into City Club and seeing the centerpieces.. my jaw literally dropped, I was totally blown away, as was Russ (MY Russ!)... 110% elegance with simplicity! I can't tell you how many guests commented on the arrangements, let alone Alison (the City Club director of banquet planning). I was even called yesterday by a friend of a guest asking for your phone number for their daughter's wedding in Fall of 2009 and they haven't even sen pics yet! :)

Again thank you so much for making Monya and Russ's day EXTRA beautiful!

Fondly,
Claudia

J & S

Jenny and Shawn got married on a gorgeous day in September. They celebrated their wedding at the Napa Valley Country Club with an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Jenny and Shawn wanted to incorporate dahlias and fall colors (burgundy, oranges and yellows) since dahlias were their favorite flower. All photographs were taken by Travis Hoehne Photography.

Taking A Break!

My husband and I welcomed our new baby boy Emmett last week and we are slowly figuring out which end is up :) So I'm taking a little break for now while we adjust to the new life that has joined us. I still have quite a few weddings to post for this year so stay tuned!

J+C Wedding

Jamie and Charles tied the knot at the Harvest Inn located in St. Helena, California. It's a beautiful and quaint hotel.

Wedding Coordinator: Lisa from Bellissima Vita
Wedding Stationery: Susanne from Cards de Luxe
Colors: Creams, peaches with light blue accents
Flowers: Roses, hydrangeas, and dahlias

I didn't get a chance to take pictures of her bouquet :( So those will have to come later when I get them from her photographer (hoping and crossing fingers!)

We placed buckets along the aisle for the ceremony and then moved the flowers to the reception tables afterward.

V + K.C. Wedding

Vanessa and K.C. got married on a gorgeous day at the Mill Valley Community Center. A really nice venue with an area for an outside ceremony and a beautiful room for an indoor reception. Their colors were baby blue, chocolate brown with accents of cream/ivory.

The reception centerpieces altogether.

We lined the aisle with buckets and were able to use them again by moving them on to the guest tables after the ceremony. A good way to save some money!

Ceremony arch with garland. The garland was moved to the
candy buffet table after the ceremony.
For the reception we had tall centerpieces and low centerpieces.

Vanessa made these very cute escort cards

I want to thank my husband for taking these awesome pictures and doing a FABULOUS job setting everything up. A special thanks to Annamarie and Betty for helping also. Thanks girls!
