K + M Wedding Part II

Wow, I really kept you guys hanging, didn't I? It was not intentional. Some how the week went by in a blur with 2 weddings, a corporate event and a teething baby. Anyway....more on Kim and Matt's Wedding!!

Ceremony

We hung yellow carnations in vases off of the chairs.

Kim made the most adorable initials to hang in the ceremony. She loves daisies so she used some artificial daisy blooms and whipped them into these monogram cuteness.

Best man let me take a picture of the bout!

I loved the hanging lights and lanterns at the reception!

I'm waiting for some professional picture from the photographer - I can't wait to show you those. Kim sent me a sneak preview of one....love it!

M & R Part II

I mentioned before that I helped Monya and Russ with their Invites. They wanted something that incorporated fall leaves in shades of brown. We played with a few different ideas and this is the final product!

J & D Invites

I was able to assist Jessica and Dave with their invitations and flowers for their wedding! I was very excited when they decided to have the invites letterpressed. They hired Mercurio Brothers based out of Berkeley and from what I hear, one of the more affordable printing companies out there. You provide the design and they print. I love how they turned out!

I'll post pictures of their flowers next so stay tuned!

Jessica & Steve Part II

Jessica and Steve's reception was at the Adobe Lodge located on the campus of Santa Clara University. They have a beautiful grass courtyard and an inside space for dancing and music. The weather was perfect and their colors went perfect for a fun, whimsical day time wedding.

Place card table (Thanks Sara, Marieanne, Marion and Marie for helping!)

Cute welcome letter for the guests. I designed the monogram on top.

Card Box that Jessica made.

Centerpiece One: Low cylinder arrangement with hydrangea, roses
spider mums, stock, gerbers and monkey tails.

Centerpiece Two: Flat of wheatgrass with gerbers and monkey tails

Cupcakes! This was made by Jen's Cakes.

I gave some flowers to Jen and she made the cake topper. Beautiful!

Swank Tablescape

I would have to say this was the table that I had to really think about. I wanted it to be original (who doesn't want that?!) that was also modern. We chose fresh colors for spring but didn't want it to be pink or any pastels. So after many nights of racking my brain and sketches of ideas - I finally decided on doing something with circles and grass. Sounds interesting, right?

Pictures are better than words....presenting the Swank Tablescape
(nick named the Purple Rain Table by my husband cause he likes to be funny)

Photos by Ed Pingol Photography and my funny husband.

Behind the scene story...I spend hours and hours (not really but it sounds good) on the first monogram T to only turn around and drop it. Yes, I dropped it. It broke and I was very sad. I had to make another one. Wahhhh!
